Special to the News
Thank you to Goodwater Fire Chief Elmore Unbehant and his wife, Merry, also a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) instructor and volunteer EMS and firefighter with the Goodwater Fire Department, for coming up to Central Elementary early Saturday morning to instruct staff on basic life support.
The course included instructional videos, hands-on practice with the “dummies” and even a test. The staff members were thankful to have the opportunity to learn these important life-saving techniques and were inspired to expand the opportunity to even more teachers and more of our students in the future.
We appreciate the Unbehants; this would not be possible without their dedication to serving their community.
