Let me tell you about my Jesus, and let me tell you about my fur babies, Kobe and Smokey.
Jesus is so awesome. He puts me in a whole different world sometimes, and the Holy Spirit takes me on a whole new level, and it seems that I cannot go any further. However, God holds me up until I am ready to move further, and if I fall, He catches and captures me.
On Tuesday I was going outside for just a minute without a coat on, and the Holy Spirit spoke saying, put on a coat and take your phone. I obeyed and let Kobe outside. As I turned to come back in I fell and was unable to get up for a minute.
Before I could get to my phone, my babies Kobe and Smokey (my cat) ran over to help me. I expected Kobe, but was surprised to see Smokey there trying to help. It was unbelievable how Smokey was helping Kobe and looking at me in a strange way.
Kobe stood close to me strongly for me to hold on to him to push myself up as Smokey loved on Kobe and me. It’s hard for me to get up after I fall unless there is something for me to hold on to, and I fell in a wide open space with nothing to hold on to, but God gave me my babies, and I thank Him.
That’s why I always keep a praise in my heart. God has been too good to me, and I will praise and give Him all the glory for all He does for me. I don’t care what people say one bit. Call me what you want to. I still love you and will praise God even more and some for you, too.
There are times in our lives when we feel there is no way up or out, illness, confusion, loneliness after losing loved ones, desperation, and they take us to the place called rock bottom. You feel weak, and it’s easy to lose faith in your ability to go on. If you can put aside the fear, weakness and desperation for just a minute, you will remember the other times you were at the bottom and how in a moment, miraculously, you were lifted up!
God isn’t alarmed when we hit rock bottom. He made the rock. There is no spot where God is not. I have known the place called rock bottom, and God lifted me from that place.
I hope everyone enjoyed Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We had a successful day at the doctor’s office, praise God. Thank God for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his family. Some of his dreams came true.
“If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. But by all means, keep moving.”
Happy birthday to all January babies.
Let’s pray for our country without ceasing.
