Last Sunday Pastor Hill preached on the goodness of God. It reminded us to stay focused on Him to receive the benefit He has for us.
Too many of us are sleeping on God’s goodness. Let’s wake up and see what God has for us to do, use and help others. Let us embrace all the goodness of God and see how happy we can be.
The world is so unhappy and miserable these days, and the one thing that is missing in our lives is that we have pushed God aside and are looking up to man and money. The love of money is going to hurt someone’s pocket, and man will leave you. But God will never leave us. We leave Him; however, we can always find Him. “Just dig it up,” whatever you are hiding.
That’s what Minister Bradgel Moon said in his message when he preached his initial sermon at the Hatchett Springs Worship Center in Goodwater, where Bishop Demetrius Griffin is pastor. Moon’s subject was “Dig it Up.” He used “dig it up” in many forms, coming form the Book of Matthew 25:15-25.
Every believer has gifts and talents, and we must use them and not hide them. Our gifts are not for ourselves. They are to be used for others to help build the church and for the kingdom of God. Minister Moon did a great job, and the Spirit was so high you could feel the great anointed all over the service.
Bishop Griffin is one anointed young man, and he just poured more oil on Minister Bradgel Moon’s fire. It was ht up in that church, and their choir did not stop the flame. They put more oil on the fire, and the flame got even bigger.
I saw something special in Bradgel years ago, very humble and respectful. I asked his mom if she could give him to me. She said, “I don’t have but one.” I said, “All I asked for is one, and that’s your son Bradgel.” Seriously, I saw preaching in Minister Moon a long time ago. Wherever he was, church, school, jail (his job), anywhere on the force, he was that same humble man. Even in his barbershop he did not entertain negativism, and we all know about barbershops and beauty parlors’ negativism. Moon doesn’t have that around him.
I pray God will bless this man of God. Since his mom won’t give him to me, I will just claim him as my chosen son.
Happy birthday to all December babies.
