For the last game of their 2022 season, the JV football team scored another win, ending their 2022 season undefeated. Central Coosa hosted the Horseshoe Bend Generals. Corey Thompson scored the first touchdown for the Cougars. Number four, Javon Thomas, recovered a fumble and scored a touchdown. The Generals were able to slide in a touchdown and punt, with the first half ending in a score of 7-36 Cougars. The Cougars kept the excitement going in the second half as Javarious Wilson caught an interception on the Generals’ third-yard line. Final score, 7-42, Cougars. The stands stood and proudly cheered for the Central Cougars as they came off the field post game. The future looks bright for Central Coosa football.
