The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
Hey…Tim James, Lindy Blanchard, Mo Brooks, Frankie Jones…you are littering our streets and roadways. And that is probably not everyone.
Remember my column earlier this year about the rules and etiquette of campaign signs? Even if you lose, especially if you lose, you need to pick up after yourselves. Didn’t your mamas raise you right?
Now, I wouldn’t be so riled if it weren’t for all the negativity in the campaigns. Did that really get you any where? I am grateful that most of it is over after the primary election.
Which was about a month and a half ago. But the signs are still around. I am wondering if a law enforcement program can use jail trustees to pick the signs up, but only if they can bill the former candidates by the piece.
How much are they worth? Can they be recycled? What about the wire stakes – those are probably worth more than the old signs.
I want to see some action on this matter. Don’t be surprised if someone brings it up to the County Commission or maybe the Town Council. I’ll be watching, your eye in the sky.
Love,
Buzzy
