The Lake Martin Area United Way is excited to announce that it will be hosting a second Day of Action in Coosa County.
This local Day of Action will be held on Friday, July 29, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Central High School Coosa County in Hanover.
Volunteers are needed to help clean, paint and do more at Central High School. United Way is asking area residents to consider volunteering their time to help them help Central High School get ready to welcome students back next month.
For those who cannot volunteer, United Way asks that they please consider making a financial donation to United Way to help offset the cost of supplies needed for the Central High School projects.
For more information on the upcoming Day of Action, contact Courtney Layfield via email at courtney.lawyfield@unitedwaylakemartin.org.
Call the United Way office at 256-329-3600 or email uw211@unitedwaylakemartin.org for a volunteer registration form prior to the event.
