Buzzy the Buzzard
Well, dang it, I miss Mr. Lewis Scarbrough already. Coosa County never had a bigger booster.
He invested in our community for decades. The most obvious project was sustaining “The News” for more than 30 years. He had many other ideas to improve our business and social activities. I realize some folks disagreed with him and perhaps worse, but it is not for me to judge.
He was a gentleman and a Christian, and his intentions were always good.
Maybe his spirit can join me as your eye in the sky.
