Although there were no senior baseball players this season, Cougar baseball honored their two senior Diamond Doll volunteers at the end of their home season last week. Diamond Dolls volunteer on average 25 hours a year running the concession stand, ticket booth, and managing fundraisers for Cougar Baseball. Jeiby Garcia joined the Diamond Dolls this year and was escorted by her mother, Guadalupe Cruz. After graduation Jeiby will be attending Central Alabama Community College to earn her nursing degree.
Kaitlyn Collins; who has served four seasons, including serving as head Diamond Doll this year; was escorted by her grandparents, Teresa and Billy Collins. After graduation Kaityln will be attending Faulkner University to earn her degree in Elementary and Special Education. Thank you, Jeiby and Kaitlyn, for your service to the Cougar baseball program.
