Thank you, Rockford Mayor Scott White, for your response and the input of my concerns of this great Town of Rockford/Coosa County [expressed in last week’s column]. People like you make a big difference for a place to grow.
Understanding and having no fear to speak the honest truth are big parts of life. I want to thank everyone else who understands logic and to open their mouths and take a stand. Silence can be your downfall sometimes, especially to conquering fear for getting things done.
Somewhere beyond the fear is a mighty lesson just waiting to be learned. If life is about learning and growing, why do some of us think our concerns are beyond life’s classroom? It’s about growth and development.
There are certain skills we need, certain strengths we must develop and certain lessons we must learn. Let’s be a Mayor White and take a stand. Every encounter is an experience of growth, and all of us have some room to grow.
Stop being a fool and not wanting to listen to anyone and think you’ve got it all together. No, we don’t.

When we walk with the consciousness of the Creator, there is nothing to fear. Do not fear people who threaten you. Do not fear obstacles that confront you. Do not fear disapproval, criticism and judgment.
Know that the only energy that has any power in your life is the gift of breath from God!
