Union Square News

For the last weeks I have been truly blessed with God’s Word. Some Sundays ago Minister Row from Clanton brought a powerful word from II Corinthians 12:9 on “When it’s too Much.”
Sickness, finances, children, personal issues, and you on the edge, but God! We all have a season to go through.
Last Sunday morning’s worship service was great. Pastor Hill opened up with many scriptures and dissected all of them that we all could see clearly. Then the choir broke loose with an awesome praise and worship that I could not hold back my “praise” and testimony. I gave it all to God.
Every praise belongs to Him. He is worthy to be praised at all times. It was like fire burning inside of me.
God has been too good to me for me to sit still, and I kept moving to the next round and heard more of God’s Word, coming from LaJerrell Hill from New Adka Baptist Church in Dadeville, preaching at New Style Baptist Church in Equality for the Fourth Pastoral Appreciation for Pastor Micheal Arnold.
Hill preached from John 10:11-15, striving to be like the good shepherd. Jesus is the good shepherd, and under the shepherd is the preacher.
The shepherd (Jesus) is “love,” and we all must have the love of Jesus and for one another, and the love of the under shepherd should be connected.
Congratulations to Jeremy Freeman, coach of Benjamin Russell boys basketball, who was named for the first time in his coaching career one of the All Star coaches for the South basketball team.
Congratulations to Delana Mitchell for being named April’s Employee of the Month. Sorry I am late congratulating her, but I was out of touch the last couple of months. However, I am back with you in my heart. We love you.
Happy birthday to Lady Mandy Hill and to all July born.
We are praying for Pastor Hill and his family in the loss of his baby sister and for all who are grieving lost loved ones.
