As a new fundraiser, T-shirt pre-orders are open until August 21 for those wishing to help the Shop with the Sheriff Christmas program while also showing support for the Sheriff’s Office.

In ongoing planning for this year’s Shop with the Sheriff program, and in efforts to continue to raise more funds for the program, the Sheriff’s Office is holding a T-shirt fundraiser.
Following the successful softball tournament, the Sheriff’s Office is now taking orders for T-shirts, allowing people the opportunity to show their support for the Sheriff’s Office while helping brighten lives this holiday season, as well.
For the Shop with the Sheriff program, Sheriff Michael Howell takes some children from low-income families in Coosa County Christmas shopping to help brighten their holiday season.
Last year, thanks to the generosity of donors, the Sheriff’s Office was able to help 32 children in Coosa County, the most they have ever been able to help through the program. Howell hopes to help even more children this Christmas.
To that end, the Sheriff’s Office is looking into adding some new fundraisers, such as the T-shirts. There has been strong support for the fundraiser so far, and the office will continue taking pre-orders for the next month before submitting an official order to have the shirts printed.
The T-shirts will be $25 for short sleeve and $30 for long sleeve. In addition to adult sizes, youth sizes small through extra large are also available at the same price.
All proceeds from the T-shirt sales will go toward the Shop with the Sheriff fund for this Christmas season.
Orders and money will be due by August 21, after which time the order will be submitted and shirts printed, with a fast turnaround time expected. Payment can be made via cash, CashApp, Venmo, and PayPal.
Those wishing to order can visit the Sheriff’s Office to place their order, or they can order through Facebook by commenting directly on the Sheriff’s Office post or messaging the Sheriff’s Office directly. Comments on shared posts are not always visible, so the Sheriff’s Office encourages those interested to contact them directly to ensure all orders are received.
“Every shirt purchased will help us continue making Christmas a little more special for children in our community,” the Sheriff’s Office stated. “Thank you for always supporting the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office and the children of Coosa County.”
