By Christa Jennings
A Goodwater man was arrested last month on warrants related to drug charges.
On May 15, Sgt. Rudd backed up Police Chief Matt Cook of Goodwater on a traffic stop because the driver had current warrants with Coosa County.
Richard Andrew Lamberth, 40 years old, was arrested on warrants for possession of a controlled substance and the manufacture, use, or sell of synthetic urine. The warrants were obtained on February 5.
His bond was set at $6,500, and as of press time he remained in custody at the Coosa County Jail awaiting trial.
