A week and a half before their Central High School graduation ceremony, four Central High School seniors earned their associates degrees at the commencement ceremonies for Central Alabama Community College (CACC).
Emma Faye Jones earned an Associates in Arts and Science, a short-term certificate in General Education, a short-term certificate in Multi-Skilled Patient Care, and a short-term certificate for Phlebotomy Technician.
Hilary Reese Lee earned an Associates in Arts and Science, a short-term certificate for Phlebotomy Technician and a short-term certificate in Multi-Skilled Patient Care.
Meori Xalae Smith earned an Associates in Arts and Science and a short-term certificate in General Education.
Charles William Tillman earned an Associates in Arts and Science and a short-term certificate in General Education.
Other seniors earned certifications from CACC, including Aniya Ayanna Horton who earned a short-term certificate for Phlebotomy Technician and Kelsey Nicole Sizemore who earned a short-term certificate in Multi-Skilled Patient Care and a short-term certificate for Phlebotomy Technician.
These students were able to earn their associates degrees from CACC while still in high school at no cost to their families because of a special program at Central High School to fund dual enrollment courses for our students.
Congratulations to our dual enrollment, dual graduates.
