Anthony Ellison and Madison Hill were wed March 21 with a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception.

Easter Sunday was truly a blessed day, a full day of God’s blessings. It started off with an awesome worship service at Rockford Church of God. Jesus has risen, and we honored Him to the highest.
It was all about Jesus and not just us being in church. It was only about “worship,” worshiping the Savior, a new beginning of life. Jesus rose, and we were happy about it.
Pastor Hill did not let anything come between him and Jesus inside a packed church, nor did the people. Jesus was loose, and everyone was blessed. What a great service!
After service Butch and I visited my niece in the hospital and took her some goodies; visited Butch’s niece and her husband, who is a preacher, and we were blessed by one scripture that many take out of context and with other surprises; and another niece of mine invited us to dinner, but instead we went by to pick up our plates.
When we got home, after we made a stop to take a couple that has been under the weather a small gift of love, we had the best food for more than two people, and Butch and I had a great feast, enough for the next day, and it was super delicious.
We thank God for His son Jesus and for what He did for our sins to receive all the blessings we have today and forevermore. Praise God.
On March 21, Anthony Ellison and Madison Hill said “I do” to the voice of Madison’s father, Pastor Chris Hill.
Pastor Hill gave his daughter away to Anthony, turned, and then joined them together. It was an honor for him to marry his first daughter with raindrops falling from his eyes; only a joke, but I did see something in his eyes. It was a nice and beautiful wedding.
The reception was outstanding – good food, good atmosphere and more, a very warm spirit to fellowship. The DJ was great. Appropriate music was played for a beautiful wedding and reception.
Union Square’s Neighborhood Watch meeting was nice and simple Monday night with great important topics being discussed, mainly concerning safety in many forms of different things.
Robin brought our attention of an incident that happened in Rockford, a man wasn’t aware of nto putting his car in park and caused an accident that hit another car that was parked. Everybody in a rush and not paying attention, not aware of the danger, and it can cause trouble for everyone.
Sheriff Howell mentioned the danger of a riding lawn mower and gave us an example of an incident that happened, and the Sheriff’s Office had to be called. We must stay focused these days. It’s a cruel world out here.
Good things are out here, but we must be careful and watch our surroundings for yourself and others. Watch our children a little more. The Sheriff’s Office cannot do it all. We need to help by doing our part, even with the trash being thrown out all over the communities. Pick up your own trash.
Happy birthday to our Union Square girl Patsy Johnston, who will turn 90-plus years on Thursday, and to all April born.
