ARRESTS
On November 24, Chief Hammond arrested Derirea Danielle Davis, a citizen of Eastaboga, on the charge of Probation Violation. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.
On November 28, Deputy Brown arrested Shane NMN Burns, a citizen of Weogufka, on the charge of Domestic Violence. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with a $2,500 bond.
On November 30, Deputy Parker arrested Lindsey Nicole Bonner, a citizen of Sylacauga, on the charge of Failure to Appear in Court. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail with $500 bond.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On November 24th, Deputies conducted a business check on US Highway 231. The business was secure.
On November 25th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of keys locked inside a motorist’s vehicle. Deputies assisted the motorist without incident.
On November 29th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 70 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies made negative contact with said person.
WEOGUFKA
On November 26th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 29 after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. A report was taken for information purposes.
HANOVER
On November 24th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist without incident.
On November 24th, Deputies conducted a business check on US Highway 280. The business was secure.
On November 28th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist without incident.
MT OLIVE
On November 26th, Deputies were dispatched to Cripple Creek Trail after receiving a request for a civil standby. Deputies assisted the citizens without incident.
GOODWATER
On November 26th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 9 after receiving reports of a domestic in progress. The call was transferred to another agency.
KELLYTON
On November 24th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist without incident.
On November 25th, Deputies conducted a business check on McClellan Road. The business was secure.
On November 26th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 48 after receiving reports of Harassment. A report was taken for information purposes.
On November 29th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 85 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. A report was taken for information purposes.
On November 29th, Deputies were dispatched to AL State Highway 115 after receiving a noise complaint. Deputies were unable to locate the source of the noise.
On November 30th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 280 after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. Deputies made negative contact with either party.
ROCKFORD
On November 26th, Deputies were dispatched to Palm Street after receiving a request for a citizen assist. Deputies assisted the citizen without incident.
On November 26th, Deputies were dispatched to US Highway 231 after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies arrived and assessed the situation. A written warning was issued.
On November 26th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving reports of a disabled motorist. Deputies assisted the motorist without incident.
On November 26th, Deputies were dispatched to Main Street after receiving reports of a fight. Deputies arrived and assessed the situation. No report wanted/needed.
COTTAGE GROVE/HISSOP
On November 24th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving reports of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies arrived and assessed the situation; alarm was determined to be false.
RAY
On November 26th, Deputies were dispatched to AL Highway 22 after receiving reports of a suspicious person. Deputies located the individual. An arrest was made, and the suspect was transported to the Coosa County Jail without incident.
WILD LIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
On November 28th, Deputies were dispatched to Coosa County Road 29 after receiving reports of a domestic dispute. Deputies arrived and assessed the situation. No report was needed/wanted.
