We are proud to recognize Elena Grace Robinson as our seventh grade Student of the Month. Elena is the daughter of Drew and Jaci Robinson and resides in the Rockford community. She is an active member of Kellyton Baptist Church and is well known for her bubbly personality and joyful spirit.
At school, Elena’s favorite class is Ms. Belyeu’s math class, where she enjoys the challenge of solving problems and applying her critical thinking skills. Outside the classroom, Elena expresses her love of dance as a member of the new Central High School Dance Team. Her love of dance has also provided her with the exciting opportunity to perform for the Talladega NASCAR Cup Series for the past three years.
Elena’s future goals include becoming a business owner, and her strong work ethic and leadership qualities are already setting her on the path to success. Teachers describe her as a student who is always smiling, kind and patient. In addition, she is quick to volunteer, offers help to her classmates without hesitation and consistently builds positive relationships with her peers.
In addition to her willingness to help others, Elena is known for her excitement about learning and her consistent participation in class. She demonstrates determination and a positive attitude in everything she does, making her an excellent role model for her fellow students. Congratulations, Elena, on being named Student of the Month! Your kindness, joy and hard work inspire everyone around you.

We are proud to recognize Kaven Kelly as our eighth grade Student of the Month. Kaven is making his mark both in and out of the classroom. The son of Shanetrius Jones and David Kelly, Kaven is a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. At school, Kaven enjoys learning, especially in his favorite classes, math and science. Kaven added, “I like numbers for math, and I love going to the lab for science.”
Kaven played the tuba in the band in sixth grade, but for now he is simply focused on school and has not yet decided on future plans. Kaven’s teachers are especially proud of the growth he has shown in the classroom. They describe him as a student who has worked hard to improve his communication skills, noting the great strides he made from last year to this one. His determination to keep up with his peers and his willingness to put forth effort have not gone unnoticed. Teachers say his progress and positive attitude reflect just how much he has grown, both academically and personally. Congratulations, Kaven!

We are proud to recognize Caiden Gaddis as our ninth grade Student of the Month. Caiden, son of Christopher Gaddis of Goodwater, is making a strong impression both inside and outside the classroom. Outside of school, Caiden is a member of Hatchet Springs Worship Center. At school, Caiden has a passion for learning, particularly in math because he loves working with numbers. His favorite class is Mr. Mitchell’s sixth-period science class, however, where he appreciates his teacher’s humor.
In addition to excelling academically, Caiden is active in school life through his participation in basketball and the Student Government Association, showing leadership and teamwork on multiple levels.
Looking ahead, Caiden plans to attend the University of Alabama, where he hopes to major in either business administration or educational leadership. He believes that true success comes not from intelligence alone, but from determination. Caiden added, “It doesn’t matter how smart you are. Your drive and determination to do your work makes you successful.”
Teachers describe Caiden as a respectful, hardworking student who goes above and beyond, often assisting with cleanup and setting a positive example for his peers. Caiden’s dedication, character and ambition continue to shine as he builds a bright future. Congratulations, Caiden!

We are proud to recognize Katie Griffith as our tenth grade Student of the Month. Katie is making a name for herself both in and out of the classroom. The daughter of Bethany and Rodney Griffith of Goodwater, Katie is an active member of Estell Community Church.
At school Katie participates in a wide range of school organizations. She plays in the Pride of Coosa County Band and is also involved in the Key Club, Media Club, Student Government Association, and SAFE. Her favorite subject is math, which she enjoys because of her love for problem-solving and the influence of her teacher, Mr. Phillips, who she says made a lasting impact on her education.
Katie has big goals for the future; she plans to pursue a career as a gynecologic surgeon and become an advocate for women’s health. Alongside her professional aspirations, she dreams of having a nice home with plenty of livestock.
Katie’s teachers praise her for her dedication to academics and extracurricular activities, noting that she is already working through SAFE to earn her Certified Nursing Assistant certification. Teachers describe Katie as extremely committed, responsible and skilled at balancing her many responsibilities, making her a shining example of leadership and determination at Central High. Congratulations, Katie! We are honored to recognize you as our tenth grade Student of the Month.

We are proud to recognize James C. Duncan as our eleventh grade Student of the Month. James is the son of James B. Duncan and lives in the Weogufka community. James is an active member of Zion Ridge Church of God, with his faith being an important part of his daily life. James begins each day with gratitude, thanking God for the air he breathes and the food he eats.
Outside of school, James also enjoys fishing, which gives him time to relax and reflect. At school, James’s favorite subject is automotive tech class because he enjoys learning about vehicles and gaining hands-on experience. This school year, James has shown remarkable growth in maturity and responsibility. He is the first one in the classroom each day and has been dedicating himself not only to his lab work, but also to mastering the theory portion of his course. He has become more focused, actively engaged in learning and is seeking ways to strengthen his future by earning certifications that will enhance his resume and career opportunities.
Though James has never been a troublemaker, his teachers and classmates have noticed how much more seriously he is taking his education this year. His determination, strong work ethic and positive attitude make him an excellent role model for his peers. Looking ahead, James plans to serve his country by joining the U.S. Air Force after graduation. Congratulations, James, on being named Student of the Month. Your dedication and growth are truly inspiring, and we are proud to celebrate your achievements.

We are proud to recognize Hannah Hyatt as our twelfth grade Student of the Month. Hannah is the daughter of Tabitha and Jonathan Hyatt and lives in the Weogufka community. Hannah attends the Weogufka Family Worship Center and is known for her kind heart, bright personality and dedication to both school and community.
At school, Hannah enjoys all of her subjects and has a true love of learning. She also has a passion for softball, which she enjoys in her free time. Beyond her academics and hobbies, Hannah has shown an outstanding commitment to helping others. As a member of the Student Government Association, she serves as a peer tutor, working with underclassmen to help them stay on top of their assignments and prepare for tests. Her teachers and peers describe her as respectful, funny and always willing to lend a hand. These qualities make her a positive influence and a role model for others.
Looking ahead, Hannah plans to continue her journey in education by pursuing her dream of becoming a teacher. With her work ethic, kindness and leadership, there is no doubt that she will inspire and shape the lives of future students. Congratulations, Hannah! We are proud to celebrate you as our Student of the Month.
