Union Square News
Ruby Johnson
Union Square gives a big shout out to Mr. Brian Walker. He keeps Union Square and also some other communities looking great! He makes the saying “Alabama is a clean state” be true.
I remember some years ago hearing someone saying that New York wanted to send its waste and trash to Mobile, and Mobile refused. Thank God; I was happy about that.
Union Square residents are proud to say we reside in Union Square community. Walker doesn’t only keep it clean; he also looks after neighbors’ well being. He is a kind and concerned person, and we appreciate him and his workers.
There are three kinds of people in the world: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen and those who wonder what happened. These are the excuses we give for sitting on our butts, “I was thinking about it, but…,” “I was going to, but…,” “I want to, but…,” “I wish I could, but…” We tell ourselves something is missing.
If you think what you need is not there, find it. If you cannot find it, make it. If you cannot make it, find someone who can. If you do not have the money to pay them to make it, get it done on credit. If you have no one to borrow from, ask someone else to borrow it for you. If you do not have credit, get some. If you cannot get credit, go out and do something that someone will pay you for so you can pay for what you need.
There are no “buts” so big they cannot be moved. Once you have moved the “butts” everything else will follow! Mr. Walker is the person who makes things happen with no excuses to give. May God bless him.
Rockford Church of God was happy to have a special guest on Sunday, Mrs. Jenelle Sammons.
“Stop making excuses for not doing what you want and need to do. Pick one excuse, face the obstacles, complete the task, and move on and see how it feels.”
