A domestic disturbance last week resulted in the arrest of a Tallassee man on a shooting-related charge.
On January 12, Deputy Dawson responded to a call of a domestic disturbance with shots fired. Upon his arrival, Dawson began an investigation with all of the individuals at the residence in question.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of 51-year-old Jeffery Brian Asire Jr., who was charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied building.
Asire’s bond was set at $25,000. He was released on bond the same day to await trial.
