The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
So I saw this bald eagle on the side of Highway 22 last week. Snackin’ in the grass, like, well, you know. I had mixed emotions.
For buzzards, bald eagles are not a good sign. It is kind of like having a new bully move into your neighborhood. You want to be looking over your shoulder. They are big, fast and aggressive about their food. And they spiral twice as high as us cousins.
For people, bald eagles are good. They are a symbol of national pride. They are one of our best environmental success stories. They are beautiful, and seeing one is good karma.. So happy New Year people under the eagle omen!
Just drive safely; remember it was on the side of the highway. If you hit the bald eagle, your karma credit will be canceled and perhaps for the community, as well.
Don’t celebrate too hard; I am watching.
Love,
Buzzy
