Old Penton Place open house to be held Sunday afternoon

I am back from my business trip and so happy to be home. I had Rodger go with me because my business was in Arlington, Virginia, and his mother, grandfather and grandmother, and great-grandfather are buried in Arlington National Cemetery, and I thought it would be nice for him to get a chance to visit their graves.
However, it seems the farm animals know when we are unavailable; they misbehave. We heard coyotes in our back acreage the night before we left so partially blame them. But we had a pig get out of our fenced-in property and explore the fire department. Then we had turkeys get out and explore the neighbors and had two ladies each try and get them back in the yard before they got into trouble. And as we returned it seems we have a new predator; we found some attacked birds and some missing, as well. Time to set the traps again.
I took a day off my day job because I had folks coming to help on the house, but they didn’t show up so I went back to work and opened the store, a bit disappointed that work on the house was stalled again. But I spent an hour putting up some trim with my daughter after the store closed on Saturday. Then Sunday afternoon I was able to get more trim up, but need help getting the crown molding up as I can’t do that by myself.
So I did get some done, but praying this entryway can be finished very soon so I can then move on to another room and pray that gets done much quicker than the front entry.
