A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:25 a.m. Thursday, October 10, has claimed the life of a Talladega man.
Cody S. Hester, 29, was fatally injured when the 1994 Harley Davidson FLTCU Ultra Tour Glide CL motorcycle he was operating was struck by the 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup driven by Major J. White, 63, of Alpine.
After the initial impact, the Harley Davidson left the roadway, struck a ditch and then two trees. Hester was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alpine Winterboro Road, within the Alpine community, in Talladega County. Nothing further is available as troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
