Come out and join the Hanover Volunteer Fire Department for a sizzling event that promises to be both exciting and community-centered.
Their Second Annual Open House on September 28, starting at 10 a.m., will be an amazing opportunity for the public to come together and support the HVFD while enjoying a fun-filled day with friends and family.
The Open House will be a delightful affair, with an array of things to do such as activities and gift bags for the kids and scrumptious freshly cooked food.
Attendees can tantalize their taste buds with delicious hamburger and hot dog plates available for just $7. It’s an excellent chance to savor some delectable food while contributing to a worthy cause.
If that weren’t enough to get you excited, there will also be a variety of raffle prizes up for grabs. The three grand prizes are sure to grab your attention with a Glock G43X,MOS in 9mm for first place, a Henry Golden Boy 22 LR for second place and an Anderson 556 AR-15 as the third-place grand prize.
There will also be a separate door prize raffle that offers a chance to experience the thrill of winning something. With so many prizes, there’s no better time to test your luck.
Hanover Fire Supporter T-shirts will be on sale with two new great colors available for this event. Aside from the regular red and gray selection, pink and pastel blue will be available this year. All shirts are still $25.
By attending this Open House fundraiser, not only will you be supporting the Hanover Volunteer Fire Department, but you’ll also have the chance to explore the fire station and learn more about the incredible work this dedicated group of people do. This event is a fantastic opportunity for the general public to gain insight into the operations and equipment of the fire department and to interact with the dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to keep the community safe.
Fire departments play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well being of our communities with fire protection, medical assistance and rescue in a myriad of situations. Public support of a volunteer fire department is vital as they operate almost solely on the financial support of the community.
