Kindergarten and first grade grandparents were treated to special songs from their students as Central Elementary School celebrated Grandparent’s Day.
Mrs. Alverson, Mrs. Hagan and Mrs. Well’s kindergarten classes sang “Grandparents Day.” Mrs. Chappell, Mrs. Ware and Mrs. Zachery’s first graders sang “Skinny Marinky Dinky Dink,” “Let’s go see our Grandparents” and did a “Chicka Boom Boom” welcome. Grandparents also had the opportunity to pose for pictures with their grandkids after the program and were also able to visit the book fair together.
