U.S. Hwy. 411 between Odenville, Asheville

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) has launched a resurfacing project on U.S. Highway 411 (State Route 25) in Odenville.
The 8.817-mile job stretches from Maddox Farm Road to the junction of the U.S. Highway 231/U.S. Highway 411 roundabout.
That section of highway handles between 3,000-4,000 vehicles a day.
The milling work on the project begins this week. Motorists should expect traffic to be reduced to one lane and will be controlled by flaggers at each end of the operation with a pilot car. Lane closures will not exceed 2 miles.
The contractor should wrap up the resurfacing work by the end of the year.
ALDOT would like to thank the public for its patience while we work to upgrade this important corridor in Jefferson County.
