Special to the News
Kellyton Baptist Church is excited to announce this year’s Vacation Bible School, themed “Illumination Station.”
This is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore their faith through engaging activities, storytelling, music, and crafts.
The program aims to illuminate young minds with the teachings of the Bible in a fun and interactive environment.
Parents can register their children for this illuminating journey, where they will make new friends, learn valuable lessons and create lasting memories. To fill out the registration form, scan the QR code.
Join us at the “Illumination Station” for a week filled with inspiration and discovery!
Children will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to the dark world!
The kids will focus on Jesus at Spotlight Bible Study and bask in the colorful glow of Suncatcher Recreation, twirl in the flittering refracted light of Mirror Ball Music and pass through strands of twinkling lights on the way to Kaleidoscope Crafts. Turn it all the way up for Neon Snacks and bring it all the way down for Glow-in-the-Dark Missions.
Kellyton Baptist Church’s VBS will be held June 7-11 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This is free of charge and open to children 4 years old through twelfth grade.
The church will be running its transportation van, so let them know if they need to stop at your house and pick up the kids. Please contact Donna Jones at 256-743-1142 or Glenda “Tater” Eason at 256-935-0287.
In addition to registering via the QR code, Pre-registration Day will be held tomorrow, May 30, from 9-10 a.m. under the awning at the Fellowship Hall for those wishing to pre-register in person.
