September 26
Wetumpka Church of Christ will host its annual Ladies’ Day on Saturday, September 26, with guest speaker Sheri Harris. This year’s theme is “A Virtuous Woman in Today’s World.” Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with Ladies’ Day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Breakfast will not be provided, but lunch will follow at 12 p.m.
September 30
St. James AME Church will hold a community food drive on Wednesday, September 30, from 9:30 to 11:30. The church will continue to hold community food drives each month on the fourth Wednesday.
October 3
Holly Springs Baptist Church will have its bi-annual meeting on October 3, at 10 a.m. All members, please attend.
October 11
Weogufka Second Baptist Church will have Homecoming on Sunday, October 11, starting at 10 a.m. All are welcome to join us for this special service.
October 18
You are invited to the Fifteenth Pastoral Appreciation honoring Rev. Lorenzo and Sis. Dianne Caldwell of The Almighty God Baptist Church, Goodwater, on Sunday, October 18, at 2 p.m. Theme: I Timothy 5:17-18. Guest speaker: Rev. Michael Strong, pastor of Haven Chapel in Dadeville. Everyone is invited.
Weekly
Unity Fellowship Church; located at 8780 Coosa County Road 56, Weogufka, 35183; is having Bible Study each Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church with a meal provided. If you would please contact Martha Mooney at 205-249-0472 or Pat Green Gaither at 256-391-7353 to confirm each Wednesday of any cancellation. Bible Study is usually finished by 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
Monthly
Every second Tuesday of the month, Manna Ministries of Rockford Baptist Church hosts a free community dinner from 4-6 p.m. Donations are welcome for the meal, but not required.
