On Tuesday, Secretary of State Wes Allen released the following statement after the state Legislature’s final passage of House Bill 95.
“Today, the Alabama Legislature passed HB 95, a bill that requires audits after state and county elections. I have always supported election transparency. I voted for post-election audits when I was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives. I am glad to see the Alabama Legislature take this step to ensure voter confidence in our elections and look forward to this legislation being signed into Alabama law.”
