Diana Dew

 

Diana Dew; born May 19, 1954; passed on March 30, 2026, at the age of 71, and was a resident of Sylacauga.

She is survived by her children, Johnny Knox, David Dew (Kelsey), Martin Dew (Sonya), Mike Dew Jr., Matthew Dew, Lisa Dew, and Leilani Dew; 25 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Mary Ann Thornton (Jimmy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael L. Dew; her parents, Wesley and Selma Jacks; three brothers; three sisters; and her daughter, Michelle Dew.

Diana loved her animals, loved the outdoors and camping at the lake. She was an over-the-road truck driver for seven years where she went all over the country.

Visitation was held at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, Sylacauga, on April 2, 2026, followed by the funeral service in the Chapel at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Russell Thornton, Brandon Knox, Zach Dew, Bradyn Dew, Mike Hurst, and RJ McClellan.

Interment was at Weogufka First Baptist Church Cemetery, 18762 Coosa Co. Rd. 29, Weogufka.
