An Alexander City man was arrested late last month on drug-related warrants for a total of five charges.
On March 21, Deputy Brown responded to a call to backup Goodwater Police Department on an individual who had outstanding warrants with the Sheriff’s Office.
Brown made contact with 38-year-old Xavier Rashun Marbury, who was then arrested and charged with three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and two counts of conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime.
Marbury’s total bond for all five charges was set at $125,000. The same day as his arrest he was released to another jurisdiction.
