The Sheriff’s Office recently made two unrelated arrests for failure to appear warrants and a probation violation.
On March 2, Sgt. Rudd picked up 45-year-old Daryl Brian Hosey of Harpersville from the Elmore County Jail on six failure to appear, or FTA, warrants. Those were for possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana, obstructing justice by using false identity, attempting to elude, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hosey was given a $500 cash bond, and as of press time he remained in custody at the Coosa County Jail awaiting trial.
On March 8, 40-year-old Tiffney Ruth Breedlove of Sylacauga was picked up from the Birmingham Police Department for probation violation.
As of press time she did not have a bond set and remained in custody at the Coosa County Jail awaiting trial.
