A young adult was arrested last Saturday on an alcohol-related charge following a traffic stop.
Chief Deputy Scott Hammond reported that on January 31, Deputy Parker was on routine patrol when he conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation.
He approached the vehicle and noticed an open container inside the vehicle. Parker also detected a strong odor of alcohol.
HE asked the driver to exit the vehicle to conduct the field sobriety tests, and the driver failed all tests.
Ultimately, 18-year-old Dylan Austin Dunn of Kellyton was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
His bond was set at $2,000, and he was released on bond the same day to await trial.
