Congratulations to the Pride of Coosa County band’s color guard who received a 1-Superior rating, as well as brought home the Best in Class trophy at Saturday’s Phoenix City Invitational Competition.
Color guard members include Elizabeth Clark, Shermanee Cox, Madison Hamilton, Jayden Melton, and Elizabeth Moore.
Thank you to color guard sponsor Katie Martin and band director Daryl Ingram for the countless hours you dedicate to our students from summer band camps, to after school practices, to fundraising, to Friday night games, and returning early Saturday mornings to head to competition. We are proud that the fruits of your and the band students’ labor are paying off.
