Kelseigh Sims, my god-granddaughter, celebrates her tenth birthday in Washington, D.C.
Bravo and a big shout out to Central Cougars Coach Daniel Flowers and his boys on their first win of the football season! We are praying for more wins. Great job, and well done!
Children, old people and fur babies are my favorite things.
Happy birthday to my god-granddaughter Kelseigh Sims, who turned 10 years old on September 4. She was happy and blessed to spend her birthday touring Washington, D.C., and celebrating her uncle’s graduation from the FBI academy in Quantico, Virginia. Kelseigh has been around the world. This is her first time to Washington, D.C.
My 2-year-old great-grandson, Chayce Days, is the most precious great-grandson and so lovable. He will make a mean person love him.
He knows his Ma Ruby loves flowers, and he makes sure I will always get flowers from him. It doesn’t matter what kind. He is a sweet kid.
Only one problem we have with him is when you hurt his feelings he likes to bite, and that’s a “no no.” But guess what? When I was a little girl I would bite if someone hurt me, even until I was grown.
But guess what? When I could not bite anymore because I lost some teeth, I stopped biting, and I was told that your teeth would fall out if you bite people.
I told Chayce’s mother that he took that after me. I am sorry, Chayce; one bad habit. Maybe he will learn before he becomes an old man, or whoever he bites will bite him back.
No, we must teach our children right from wrong. My mom punished me, but I would bite when she was not looking. I was a terrible little girl when it came to fighting back. I bite.
Chayce is still my boy, and I love him. But stop biting, Chayce.
Our Kobe and Smoky are two of a kind. When we walk Kobe, Smoky walks with us. When Kobe does his thing in the bushes, Smoky does his a couple of feet away in the bushes. They play together so well.
When one is not feeling well the other one looks after the other. They are something else to watch. I love my babies.
Happy birthday to all September babies.
Praying for families of broken hearts, for our country and leaders, our young people, and for people who have pets and don’t take care of them.
