In My Humble Opinion
Jodi McDade
The heat of summer is certainly here! I am really concerned about how hot it will be in August based on what June and July have been.
If you know me personally you know that I am extremely hot natured – I don’t glisten or sweat, I MELT! I can handle possibly 80 degrees if there is a breeze blowing! I envy people who can enjoy the outdoors during the summer months, but I would much rather stay indoors with the air conditioning and ceiling fans!
The news lately has been very depressing – and I’m not talking about politics! The situation in Texas, North Carolina and elsewhere with all the rain and flooding has been horrible. The number of deaths and missing continue to change and include all those precious children from summer camps.
It does seem we are having more and more natural disasters happening so I do wonder if we are missing some warning signs from God. The one promise we do have is He will not destroy earth by flooding again. But, while I don’t really believe in human climate change, I am questioning some of the man-made technology that may be out there. Is someone seeding clouds? Are some of the chemicals being used changing the natural dynamic of our soil/air?
There have been several school shootings and church shootings. The “peaceful” demonstrations and rallies that are being held are anything but peaceful. Why are so many people SO angry and anti-American / anti-Semitic? Sorry, but I blame much of the educational system and fake media for most of it.
Our young people have been brainwashed to believe everything on social media that is only opinions of other people. And then, because so many of our people do not have jobs, they are hired by extremists to show up at these protests and rallies. I have seen with my own eyes busloads of people being brought in to stir up trouble at conservative events. This is nothing new – it’s been going on for well over 10 years! And I would bet most anything that the FBI, CIA and other agencies can use facial recognition to place the same people at different events all over the country.
Have you ever thought about how fast mass-produced signs appear at these events – and in all areas of the country? These are not homemade signs like were used during the demonstrations against the Vietnam War!
I still cannot understand why Americans can support and protect illegal immigrants being in our country! So many of our Americans no longer receive assistance because it is all directed to these people who should not even be here! What is it about putting Americans first that people don’t understand? Why do so many people not want murderers, rapists, child molesters, drug traffickers, and other criminals to be expelled from our country? Why don’t Americans seem to want safe neighborhoods, to want to work to provide for their families, to want a better life for their children?
Why are so many people against our law enforcement, first responders, firefighters that they sit back while these brave people are being attacked by these criminals, illegals and brainwashed Americans? Why are so many cities controlling what laws can and cannot be enforced?
Not much is making any sense to me anymore. I don’t see much in the way of common sense being used to make decisions. So many of the American population under 60 years old don’t remember how our country used to be – and many of us older than that only remember the last few years of patriotism and the melting pot we used to be.
We allowed a small group of people to turn us against each other, take our religions out of schools, put restrictions on our churches, and convince us we were enemies based on our economic and racial differences.
I have so many questions and concerns, and I think many of you do, also. Why, why, why are things the way they are? What, what, what can we do to fix it? Who, who, who will step forward and lead us out of this negativity? When, when, when will our children live in an environment of safety and productivity? Where, where, where will the change start?
It needs to start inside each of us and spread to our families and friends. It needs to start with being more involved in the major decisions of who we elect to represent and make the decisions that affect all of US every day. It needs to start with returning to God, asking Him to heal our country and putting Him as the most important part of our lives.
I am so hoping to have a more cheerful outlook next week! I think I will write about politics – LOL!
