A Montgomery woman was arrested last Saturday in the Stewartville area on drug-related charges.
On June 14, Deputy Brown responded to a woman sleeping in her vehicle near Dollar General in Stewartville. After numerous attempts, he woke the woman up.
The vehicle had an expired tag, and her license was suspended. Brown asked permission to search the vehicle, with the search yielding in finding a clear container with a crystal-like substance, which field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Christine Thames Holman, 39 years old, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication. Her total bond for both charges was set at $5,500, and she was released on bond on Monday to await trial.
