The students had an amazing time with lots of adventures. Besides competing in their events, they also went to the Indianapolis Zoo; took a gondola ride, which included a serenade by the gondolier; visited the INDY 500 Museum; and enjoyed dinner and games at Dave and Busters with their state delegation. From the opening ceremony to the closing ceremony, it was full of energy and excitement.
Central Coosa JAG sponsor Debbie Phillips said, “To say we have the best students here in Coosa County is an understatement. These students showed up and showed out. I am super proud of their accomplishments and looking forward to next year. Way to go, Central High School, Coosa County JAG program for continuing to make history. Keep up the good work.”
Congratulations to all our JAG students, and a special thank you to Central Coosa’s JAG sponsor. Debbie Phillips, for leading our students to success and Heidi Meeks for doing a great job serving as a chaperone throughout the conference week.
