April 18

A Good Friday Hymn Singing presented by Hunter Goff and friends will be held at Sears Chapel in Rockford from 4-8 p.m. on April 18. Hunter is Dr. Goff’s grandson. This is a come and go event, so come for any or all of it as we worship the Lord together.

 

April 20

Equality Methodist Church will hold an Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday morning, April 20, and invites all to come. The service will be at 6 a.m. The church will also have Easter Service at 11 a.m., and, as always, everyone is invited to attend. April 28

Tee up for Hunger: Charity Golf Tournament will be held April 28 at 9 a.m. at Lakewinds Golf Course in Jackson’s Gap. Come have fun while helping us stop hunger among Coosa County families, senior adults and children. There will be prizes, food and door prizes! “Revive us Again” – Equality Methodist Church is hosting a revival May 18-21. We invite all to come and join us as we seek the presence of God and a renewal of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Revival schedule: May 18 at 5 p.m. with Dr. John Ed Mathison and special music by Mack Daugherty, May 19 at 6 p.m. with Dr. George Mathison and special music by “We’re Still Here” group, May 20 at 6 p.m. with Pastor Matthew Reams of Sardis Baptist Church and special music, and May 21 at 6 p.m. with Pastor Gerald Carnes of Duncan Memorial Methodist Church and special music by the Duncan Methodist Choir.
