Steven Travis “Stevo” Blake
Funeral service for Mr. Steven Travis “Stevo” Blake, 33, of Alexander City, was Sunday, July 23, 2023, at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Pastor Adam Turner officiated. Burial followed in the Kendrick Baptist Church Cemetery in Nixburg.
Mr. Blake passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Russell Medical. He was born on July 2, 1990, in Alexander City to Eddie Tilley and Donna Blake Tilley.
He is survived by his daughters, Zanovia Martin-Blake, Akira Martin-Blake and Azariah’lynn Blake; son, La’Travis Eli Blake; mother, Donna Tilley; father, Eddie Tilley (Susan); brothers, Joshua Tilley (Susan) and Michael Tilley; niece, Kimberly Tilley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Blake; and grandparents, Janice Cannon, James Blake, and Arvil and Vivian Tilley.

Corey Allen Hosey
Corey Allen Hosey, age 24, of Rockford, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
Corey is survived by his mother, Terri Sowash (Matthew); his sister, Shelley Hosey; his great-grandmother, Shirley Blair; his grandparents, Peggy Bailey (Johnny); his niece, Kamryn Blair; his aunt, Janice Holdeman (Ken); his aunt, Joanie Mitchell; his uncle, Joe Bailey (Krista); and his uncle, Michael Bailey (Tammy).
Corey was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, George Blair.
Corey also leaves several cousins and many beloved friends to cherish his memory.
Corey lived his life to the fullest. “It will be alright by Tuesday.”
A visitation for Corey will be held Friday, July 28, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m.
Corey will be laid to rest in New Site Cemetery, Weogufka.
Serving as pallbearers are Kyle Bearden, J.D. Stephens, Nathan Hay, Evan Murray, Dylan Hay, and Justin Ricks.

Paul James White III
Paul James White III, age 32, of Sylacauga, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023.
Paul is survived by his father, Paul James White II of Sylacauga; and his mother, Opal White of Sycamore; his brother, Kevin Ragsdale (Dana) of Sylacauga; his son, Kaylub White; his daughter, Addison White; his aunt, Dewelena Reynolds (Bob); and his grandparents, Wayne and Annie Weathers.
Paul was a loving father and devoted son. He also leaves a loving family, nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
Paul was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl White, and his brother, Jamie Ragsdale.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Radney-Smith Funeral Home. Bro. Mark Deason officiated the service.
Paul will be laid to rest in Estelle Community Church Cemetery, 366 Coosa County Road 35, Weogufka, 35183.
