The Buzz
Buzzy the Buzzard
Yesterday I noticed a truck on one of our better back roads with a Texas tag. Bless his heart, I hope he had four-wheel drive and a good suspension. Little could he know that the citizens are ready to fire the head of the road department.
Aha! A tourist! I wonder if… and I flew over Hatchet Creek and sure enough, the Cahaba lilies are blooming. It is officially tourist season in Coosa County.
We can look forward to boatloads of visitors. Let’s hope they spend money in the local eateries and gas stations. That is how our economy should work.
I am looking forward to the Spring Fling coming up, what timing. Maybe it can draw some out-of-towners, as well. New money coming in!
I’ll be watching, your eye in the sky.
Love,
Buzzy
