I was unable to attend the Neighborhood Watch meeting. However, I got a little bit of information.
We had two candidates in attendance who are running for circuit clerk of Coosa County, Mrs. Ramona Cina and Pastor Matthew Reams. Everyone was happy to have them and hear what they had to say to help build Coosa County to a greater level. We already know they have helped build our bodies with good food from Triple R still and Dollar General in the past.
God is still blessing, despite all the evil things going on. That’s Satan’s job. But God is still in control, so reach for your blessings. God has much more to give us.
Butch and I attended a revival at Way of the Cross Church of God in Clanton, and God poured out His blessings upon us. Pastor Bobby Pope from Georgia gave us an anointed message from Luke 4:16-19. His topic was “I am Anointed.” He gave us six ways the anointed works and the reason we need it. It is needed in all that we do to stay fully connected to God, help heal the brokenhearted, the poor in spirit, help the blind to see, etc.
Too many Christians feel just being saved is enough, but no. The anointed is what breaks the yoke. Pastor Pope said we need to get hungry for the anointed. It was a great sermon and a lesson for everyone.
On Sunday at Rockford Church of God, Pastor Hill gave us a great message, also, despite all of his troubles, his wife’s and mother’s illnesses, losing his grandfather (his mom’s dad), he still allowed God to use him with a powerful word of God from James 2:1-7 and other scriptures.
Patience is the key to God’s blessings and learning how to deal with adversities, Pastor Hill told us, and he spoke stronger than ever.
My heart goes out to Mayor Scott White. It seems the more he does, the more the people want, and with complaints. I pray that people will have patience and let the mayor do his job and be grateful and thank him. He is doing a wonderful job as much as he can do.
Prayers go out to Mr. Durware Adams, Mr. Charlie Crouch, Lady Mandy Hill, Pastor Ivor Smith, and all loved ones under the weather.
Happy birthday to all May babies.
