I have two things to share this week.
First, I observed my garbage pickup, right on time, for the second week in a row. I am quite impressed with how smooth this transition has been on the part of 121 Disposal. What bothers me is how many people didn’t know about it.
I knew. I read the paper, and so should you.
Second, I saw a mama dog roaming the highway this weekend. That brings up the animal shelter. The month it was open demonstrated the real need for it. A lot of people and organizations donated a lot of time and money and goods to this project.
We need to organize a public meeting with our elected leaders to get emergency funding from the state. Rep. Robbins and Sen. Chambliss have indicated a willingness to help. The governor is spending a billion. We need a share. Let’s get on it!
