Two weeks ago I made the mistake of thinking that I could zip off a piece about Joe Biden, and it would a be a simple task that I could sum up in less than 1,000 words; I was wrong. We pick up from last week’s Part 2 of listing out Biden’s long list of political blunders, all in just the two years since he was sworn in as our president.
Biden is more than just prone to going beyond simply embellishing the truth, as he often crosses over into outright lying, bordering on being diagnosable as a pathological liar. His campaign lied about his son Hunter’s laptop, saying that the well-substantiated reports of its contents were all Russian disinformation.
He lied about Hunter’s business dealings, including possible influence peddling with the Chinese. He lied about what Donald Trump said regarding the Charlottesville protests. He lied about Kyle Rittenhouse, claiming the teenager was a white supremacist before his trial even began. Throughout his political career, he has plagiarized and told fabricated stories about things he allegedly has done, including that he used to be a truck driver.
When Biden took over from Trump, he had an opportunity to rein in governmental overreach and reverse Trump’s misinformed policies. But, beginning on “Day One,” Biden reversed all of Trump’s good policies and left his bad ones in place. The COVID-19 related government mandated shutdowns created supply chain problems, slowed deliveries, added burdensome regulations, and caused the economy to tank.
Following Biden’s June 2021 executive order to establish a “government-wide initiative to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in all parts of the federal workforce,” our bureaucratic government has been hard at work injecting inanity into its everyday operations. Many of Biden’s appointees were selected not because they were the most qualified person, but based upon their race, sex, LGBT status, etc.
Biden went on to ignite racial tension where there had been none by mandating “critical race theory” training for all federal employees. Our federal bureaucracy was transformed into an apparatus wholly devoted to the cult of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Amid reports of bacterial infections, by February 2022, Biden’s Food and Drug Administration shut down the largest baby-formula plant in the country. Because of the laws of supply and demand, by April 2022, Americans everywhere found themselves unable to find needed formula, leaving parents desperate.
Desperation then turned into frustration with the Biden administration when those who were unable to feed their babies found out that the president was using tax-payer dollars to buy and ship baby formula by the pallet load for use by illegal immigrants being held at our border facilities, thereby further reducing the limited supply of baby formula that was supposed to be on the shelf of your local store.
In May of 2022, the Biden administration attempted to strongarm public schools into letting males who identify as transgender use girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms, therefore transforming public institutions into gender dysphoria zones. Biden doubled down against any resistance by threatening to pull federal funding for school lunches if they didn’t concede to his demands.
In August of 2022, Biden zipped off yet another unconstitutional executive order stating that the federal government would cancel $10,000 worth of federal student loans per applicant, forcing U.S. taxpayers to pay off trillions for student loans that they did not take out and did not benefit from. Biden, who had previously been an adjunct professor teaching constitutional law at the University of Delaware Law School “should” know that only Congress can create law, and only Congress controls the power of the purse to spend taxpayer dollars, but then again, he is suffering from the onset of obvious signs of dementia.
Under the Biden administration, the Department of Justice was politicized, where Conservatives, Republicans, Trump supporters, and anyone who is not a firm believer of riding the “blue bus” can expect the Gestapo to visit their residence or place of employment sometime soon.
When Biden’s Gestapo, I mean the FBI, seized documents from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago compound in Florida in September of 2022, the liberal mainstream media treated it as if it were the scandal of the century.
Biden commented, saying that he couldn’t believe how “anyone could be that irresponsible” in keeping classified documents. Then, just six days before the midterm election of November 2022, Biden’s lawyers discovered classified documents left in a closet at Biden’s post-vice presidential office at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington, D.C. The information was not made public until CBS broke the story on January 9, 2023.
Under Biden, our military has been similarly politicized, and the Biden team has forced their social experiments of wokeness upon all federal employees, both military and civilian. Our generals and admirals know that in order to further their careers they must implement woke concepts into the military, at the expense of legitimate training for a looming potential World War.
The United States started fiscal year 2023 with a national debt of more than $31 trillion, more than 120% of the entire U.S. economy. That debt increased by about $4 trillion in just the two years since Biden took office.
Yet, the administration is still eager to pile up even more debt. That debt was what fueled inflation, which led the Federal Reserve to increase its interest rates. With both inflation and higher interest rates, the average American family lost about $7,100 in the purchasing power of their salaries.
With both inflation and higher interest rates, the average American began to spend less, and invest less. This led first to the collapse of Silvergate Bank, followed by the Silicon Valley Bank, the second largest bank failure in U.S. history, and then with Signature Bank, as the third largest bank failure in U.S. history.
McDonald’s temporarily shut down its U.S. offices to announce layoffs all across their corporate structure. Walmart began laying off more than 2,000 workers at five U.S. warehouses. Richard Branson’s Virgin Orbit ceased all operations, laying off most of its staff, and filed for bankruptcy protection.
Apple followed suit, announcing plans to lay off employees involved in the construction and upkeep of their retail stores and other facilities. Finally, Bed, Bath & Beyond announced that it, too, may need to file for bankruptcy protection. All of this while Biden is claiming that he is personally responsible for the greatest economy ever!
Biden is already 80 years old and the oldest president to ever serve. In November 2024, Biden will turn 82, making him five years older than Ronald Reagan was when he left the White House. With Biden’s approval rating at an abysmal 36%, lower than Trump’s worst ratings ever, the Biden team recently announced that they do not expect Ol’ Biden to formally announce his candidacy for reelection before sometime this summer.
Let us all hope that he will instead finally decide to retire from politics, and in his absence, improve the quality of life for Americans everywhere!
