On February 7, Deputy Payton arrested Brian Keith Smith, a resident of Rockford, for Failure to Appear in Court. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail with no bond.
On February 7, Deputy Scott arrested Harvey Headley Duke Jr., a resident of Weogufka, for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
On February 8, Deputy Ward arrested Robert Octavius Barber, a resident of Sylacauga, for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Attempting to Elude, and Ex-Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $30,600 bond.
On February 8, Sergeant Rudd arrested Bryan Patrick Campbell, a resident of Alexander City, for Criminal Mischief. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
On February 8, Sergeant Rudd arrested Melinda Christine Campbell, a resident of Alexander City, for Resisting Arrest. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
On February 8, Deputy Keel arrested Eureka Shardae Thomas, a resident of Kellyton, for Harassment and Failure to Appear in Court. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $4,500 bond.
On February 9, Sergeant Rudd arrested Samuel James Smoot, a resident of Kellyton, for Failure to Appear in Court. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $750 cash bond.
On February 10, Deputy Scott arrested Josephine Gaddis, a resident of Alexander City, for Failure to Appear. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
On February 12, Deputy Scott arrested Terrance Maurice Thomas of Titus for Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
CALLS FOR SERVICE
STEWARTVILLE
On February 12th, Deputies were dispatched to Ham Road after receiving of a report of an unresponsive resident. The Coosa County Coroner was notified and the scene was released for investigation.
RAY
On February 6th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 322 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
KELLYTON
On February 6th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 71 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
On February 6th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 85 after receiving a report of an assault. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
LAKE MARTIN
On February 9th, Deputies were dispatched to Lost Creek Trail after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputies checked the residence and determined the alarm to be false.
MT OLIVE
On February 9th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 66 after receiving a report of property damage. Deputy spoke with the complainant and the situation was resolved without a report.
GOODWATER
On February 8th, Deputies were dispatched to Gilliland Circle after receiving a report of a house fire resulting in death. Fire departments were notified. The Fire Marshal was also notified. The scene was released for investigation.
On February 9th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 111 after receiving a report of a commercial burglar alarm. Deputies checked the business and determined the alarm to be false.
On February 9th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 52 after receiving a request for a welfare check. Deputies made contact with resident and determined everything was ok.
ROCKFORD
On February 11th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 6 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
EQUALITY
On February 7th, Deputies were dispatched to County Road 98 after receiving a report of an unwanted guest. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and the situation was resolved without a report.
