The Coosa County Historical Society is looking into adding names to the Veteran’s Memorial near the old rock jail in Rockford. The organization is currently seeing how many would be interested in having a name placed on the monument. Currently they only need your name and contact information. They would need at least 10 names to keep the cost affordable. They would then contact those interested to give them the cost and payment information. If you are interested, please email Sheila Ward at wardgrand6@gmail.com, text her at 334-414-7147, or mail your information to the Coosa County Historical Society; P.O. Box 5; Rockford, AL 35136.
