More than 25 Central students, parents, coaches, and community members went out to Gilbert Lane this past weekend to assist with tornado cleanup. The event was organized by Central softball parent Beverly Ogle and the regional director of the East Central BridgeWays office located in Rockford, Lynn Anne Castleberry. Castleberry said, “I have worked countless hurricane cleanups with teenagers and they rock.”
Students helped with moving limbs and cleaning up debris. Pictured are Dylan Calhoun, Alex Williams, Chris Leonard, Quin Gilbert, Marcus Castleberry, Ayden Williams, and Markee Goff. Also pictured are Alissa and Ethan Cosby, Ms. Elliott, Ruby Burks, and Marcus Castleberry. It was great to see our kids giving back to their community.
