ARRESTS
On December 13, Captain Hammond arrested Matthew Jackson Childress, a resident of Rockford, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
On December 13, Captain Hammond arrested Jesse Lewis Leonard Jr., a resident of Rockford, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
On December 13, Captain Hammond arrested Micah Ellison Poppell, a resident of Rockford, for Criminal Trespassing and Criminal Littering. He was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
On December 16, Deputy Ward arrested Crystal Marie Harrelson, a resident of Rockford, for Chemical Endangerment of a Minor. She was processed into the Coosa County Jail on a $15,000 bond.

STEWARTVILLE
On December 16th, deputies were dispatched to Wilson Lane after receiving a report of a civil dispute. A Deputy spoke with all parties and situation was resolved without a report.
On December 18th, deputies were dispatched to McKinney Drive after receiving a request for a welfare check. A Deputy made contact with resident and determined everything was ok, no report needed.
On December 18th, deputies were dispatched to Apple Circle after receiving a report of a death. The Coosa County Coroner was dispatched, a report was taken and the case is under investigation.
WEOGUFKA
On December 14th, deputies were dispatched to CR 29, after receiving a report of Fraud. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
On December 16th, deputies were dispatched to Baxley Farm Road after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
LAKE MARTIN
On December 12th, deputies were dispatched to Robin Lane after receiving a report of Theft of Property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
KELLYTON
On December 13th, deputies were dispatched to CR 89 after receiving a request for a welfare check. A Deputy made contact with subject and everything was ok, no report needed.

On December 17th, deputies were dispatched to AL HWY 280 after receiving a report of a commercial business alarm. A Deputy checked the business and determined alarm was false.

On December 12th, deputies were dispatched to Nixburg Road after receiving a report of damage to property. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
On December 17th, deputies were dispatched to US HWY 231 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. A Deputy checked the residence and determined alarm to be false.
On December 18th, deputies were dispatched to US HWY 231 after receiving a report of a commercial business alarm. A Deputy checked the business and determined alarm to be false.
COTTAGE GROVE
On December 16th, deputies were dispatched to AL HWY 9 after receiving a request for a welfare check. A Deputy made contact with resident and everything was ok.
On December 18th, deputies were dispatched to CR 133 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.
GOODWATER
On December 12th, Howard Kelley Jr, a resident of Broken Arrowhead Road reported to the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office to update his sex offender registration information.
EQUALITY
On December 14th, deputies were dispatched to CR 98 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A Deputy spoke with all parties involved and the situation was resolved without a report.
