Ms. Pamela Belyeu teaches seventh and eighth grade accelerated and regular mathematics. Ms. Belyeu has been an educator for 23 years. Nineteen of those years have been in the Coosa County school system. Ms. Belyeu says her teaching philosophy is simple, “I teach the same way I would like someone to teach my own son. Every day, I try to give my students my very best!”
Although Ms. Belyeu is a math teacher, she also strives to instill in her students valuable life skills such as a strong work ethic, leadership skills and character development. Ms. Belyeu says, “Over the course of my career, I have seen students who come into my classroom hating mathematics and having no confidence in themselves. The absolute best part of my job is seeing their confidence grow and witnessing their excitement about learning. It is instant intrinsic motivation, and these students become leaders in my classroom.”
Ms. Belyeu added, “I love what I do, and I love the bond we have here at Central High School. I work with wonderful people!”
