Twelfth grader Alissa Cosby always comes to class prepared to do her work. She is friendly and involved with extra activities for the school. She plays softball, volleyball and is a cheerleader. Alissa is a member of the SGA and Key Club. In the future, she plans to attend Southern Union and then transfer to JSU or Auburn to major in marine biology. Her favorite class is Mrs. Stover’s government class. Alissa exemplifies Cougar Pride! She really enjoys cheering and is making the best of her senior year. Congratulations, Alissa!
Eleventh grader Rebekah Burton is a very mature, respectful and intelligent young lady. She is a member of Seleeta Baptist Church, FBLA, SGA, Beta Club, Media Club, and the CHS varsity cheerleading squad. Rebekah plans to attend CACC and then transfer to Auburn University and major in community economic development. She currently has a 4.0 GPA at CHS, and she loves the fact that her 2024 class is like family. Congratulations, Rebekah!
Tenth grader Serenity Goolsby is very friendly and always comes to school with a smile on her face. She enjoys sports and socialization the most about school. Serenity is also an honor student. She is a member of SGA, plays volleyball at Central and volunteers as an Upward cheerleading coach. Serenity plans to attend Troy University to become an ultrasound technician. Congratulations, Serenity!
Ninth grader Jayleeya Shaw is always willing to help other students and staff when needed. When the classroom is not clean, she always offers to sweep and pick up in order to help keep her school orderly. She takes great respect in her school, peers, staff, and herself. Jayleeya works very hard and strives to do well in all that she does. Her personality is so pleasant. She is a joy to teach. Congratulations, Jayleeya!
Eighth grader Javarious Wilson is an excellent student. His teachers describe him as a leader in the classroom. He maintains good grades while participating in extracurricular activities. Javarious plays three sports – basketball, baseball and football. He wants to become a basketball player and enjoys playing the game in P.E. Congratulations, Javarious!
Seventh grader Wyatt Kimbrell is a model student at CHS! He always gives his best effort and is very polite. He loves sports, and his favorite two are baseball and football. In his spare time he likes to play video games, ride his four wheeler and play with his pets. In the future, Wyatt plans to attend Auburn University and become an engineer. Congratulations, Wyatt!
