Christmas Open House and Tenth Anniversary at Bibb Graves Community Center in Millerville: One of our alumni, Becky Huddleston Robertson, is going to be there telling stories about our history and some information about our Millerville community in past years. This is a good time to visit and see how far our community center has come. We will have an interview with Mr. Lewell Sellers done in 1995, photos of our past 10 years running on a TV screen and a video of the school and students from the 50s. Not to be forgotten is the chance to win the bid on a handcrafted table made of floor joists from the auditorium. The table will be sold that day! Come on out and visit with us Saturday, November 19, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is also the regular third Saturday Trade Day with many items for sale in the school. Outside set-up for free to sell your items. Food items for sale inside.

The Coosa County Historical Society is looking into adding names to the Veteran’s Memorial near the old rock jail in Rockford. The organization is currently seeing how many would be interested in having a name placed on the monument. Currently they only need your name and contact information. They would need at least 10 names to keep the cost affordable. They would then contact those interested to give them the cost and payment information. If you are interested, please email Sheila Ward at email@example.com, text her at 334-414-7147, or mail your information to the Coosa County Historical Society; P.O. Box 5; Rockford, AL 35136.
