Thanks to the hard work of the cafeteria staff, 180 family members were able to join their children for lunch for a special Thanksgiving meal which included the traditional favorites, turkey and dressing with gravy, sweet potato casserole, green beans, roll, dessert, and cranberry sauce. The Central Office staff also pitched in to assist with extra helping hands. Pictured is the Chief Financial Officer of Coosa County Schools Amy Davis and the Secretary to the Superintendent Susan Wilson.

Parent Laura Wooten stated, “The meal was fantastic, especially the dressing.” She added, “I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was so nice seeing all the parents and the staff members who volunteered to help. It was really a spirit of collaboration, and I am so thankful to the school for extending this opportunity for parents to come and enjoy a Thanksgiving lunch with their children.”
